Folding Octagonal Poker Table How to build your very own folding, octagonal poker table! Centre Piece Now that I had added all the T-Nuts to the padded rail and the Centre Piece, it's now time to attach my thin layer of padding to each half of the centre piece before covering these pieces with the end material. Here you can see where I have added the T-Nuts and cut the padding to a near size where I can pull the material over and staple with my staple gun. Try and staple the padding as close to the edge of the wood as possible and don't cover any of your holes up! Luckily for me I have a wife who's very handy with a sewing machine. The material I bought would simply fray if not stitched up correctly and although we had a little trouble with some of the edges, we got a pretty good result. Again, be careful when drilling your holes that they are not too close to the edge. This is how the centre piece looks when attached to the table. |
