The first regular monthly game after the North Island Champs in Taupo. Dave was unavailable due to selling his house and Craig is now away in the USA for the next few months.
The game was played pretty conservatively with Phil winning some nice pots to keep him ahead of everyone else for most of the game.
At the 11 o�clock mark, all seven players were all still in and mostly had even amounts of chips.
First out for the night was Pete � he wasn�t quite sure what happened but has a month to figure things out � usually after a last place finish � he re groups and pulls out a win!
Next to go was Kobus � a quiet night for the big fella and cards just not seeming to go his way.
In 5th place was Francois. Francois helped make up the numbers this month and played a pretty solid game. A few more games and he could do well.
4th with an improved on his 007 finishes of late was Kev. Not many mistakes but Kev but just blinded out at the end of the night with the blinds rising.
3rd place was Phil � a great effort for a non-regular player and he seemed to enjoy his night.
2nd for the night and a great fight was Grieg � he may be a new-ish to the group but is getting more consistent. Won�t be long before he�s taking down the game in 1st place.
1st for the night and the ever popular winner (not) was Midge. Backing up a strong performance in Taupo with another win. The question is � does he have a touch of the All Blacks in rugby world cups � �Can he only win at home??�
