The inaugural North Island champs hosted in Taupo 2013.
A few dusty players after the previous nights 2 games and a general reluctance not to climb back into the card loosening juice.
The game was played over a good eight hours with many highs and lows for each player. Fortunes changed as the game went on and 2 were left to contest the honours. Chris Neilson after several all in moments took the weekend spoils back to Wellington winning with a AAKKK full house.
