The first game on the 11th of February
I hosted and used my host powers to stack the deck, in terms of inviting friends and family to the game in an attempt to swing the odds in my favour. That plan back fired big time with me going up against my younger brother Tom on two hands and being knocked out first. A good friend of mine Jeremy who with limited poker experience was next to go being taken down by my youngest brother James (both of which broke a chair of mine, so I was not only first out but minus two chairs). Phil as usual was the silent assassin and took his moment to eliminate Tom. Spence was the next to go at the hands of Hamish. James then fell to Hamish and it was left to Hamish and Phil to fight it out for the title. This heads up contest lasted for over an hour with no one making a move. Phil ended up pushing on a hand and losing half his stack and the game was over in the next hand. Hamish the deserving winner on the night.
