1.00 | Chris | A good turnout of players this month with last months winner Chris Leatham making a late appearance to make a table of 10.
When we play with bigger numbers we reduce the number of chips in play to try and keep the finishing time around midnight. Unfortunately with fewer chips, mistakes are more costly which last months winner Chris found out at a fairly early stage. Chris was first out for the night.
Next to go was Scoot making his first appearance in a while and it was good to have him back at the table. After dinner things started to take a bit longer but the writing was on the wall for Mark, Lee and Midge who like the other 2 before them were all taken out by Chris Lockery. Lockery was in fine form again amassing large amount of chips and when he took out Shaun and John I thought he would go all the way knocking every player out.
Last 3 for the night with John being bubble boy was Chris Lockery, Paul and Chris Neilson. The man with all the chips for most of the night again proved the cards at the end of the night are what count and went out in 3rd place leaving Paul and Chris Neilson to fight it out for a winner.
Chris Neilson proved to be the man on the night taking out his first win for a while with Paul playing well and getting 2nd.
10 handed is a big table but the boys did well and kept the game going. Best hand of the night went to Shaun with a Straight Flush folded by a folded quad Queens to John Dinsdale.
Until the next time!
