Has Hell Frozen Over?
Just a quiet night for the boys this time with Phil not attending under very dubious circumstances! If he�d been an NRL team, he�d have been stripped of all season points and if he had any previous titles, they�d be gone too! Commitment is the key!
Anyway, Leight was happier than anyone that it was just the five of us. He not only secured the hat for the first time ever, but also won his first money ever since joining Poker Pals and to top off a great night, he also stands at the top of the table � what a night for big Leight!
First out for the night was Hamish keeping up his consistent run of 2nd, 2nd, last, last. Hamish was dealt a huge blow early on when Midge played 4 Kings against Hamish�s Full House, Kings over Queens � the 2nd best hand! Hamish tried to recover but like so many others that night, Leight dealt him the killer blow.
Next to go was Big John, still not having a lot of luck at the moment, BJ also succumbed to Leight and was 4th out.
Next to go was the mighty Spence who by his standards had a fairly quiet night.
The final 2 for the evening was Leight and Midge. After a while of the chips moving around, Leight was finally not denied his first every win and cash with Poker Pals. Leight played well and won the night with a straight on the river beating Midge�s pair of Queens.
