Round 2 of the Churton Park Poker season got underway on Friday night and this time we all made it to the final table with 8 players making it for the night.
Chris kindly hosted the night this time round but in the beginning may have wished he hadn�t.
First out for the night wash Shaun at around 11pm which was a good effort for losing our first player. Shaun like most people was put out by our eventual winner on the night Chris.
Next out was last times winner Mark who seem to have a much quieter night than last time again put out by our host Chris.
New man in for the night Tris was out in 6th place and he made a good job of his first Poker night. Again Tris was put out by Chris.
Will � after a long absence from poker went out in 5th place but good to see Will back and playing. Will like so many others was put out by Chris.
Last time 2nd place Paul went out in 4th place and just to be different was put out by Midge.
Bubble boy for the night was Chris Neilson who again chose to be different and was put out by Midge.
After much moving of the chips from one side of the table to the other and some good dealing by Shaun, Chris won the night with a Kings full of Queens�s full house which was more than a match for Midge�s 2 pair.
Chris was the deserved winner on the night after struggling for long periods of the early evening. He proved as always that great cards at the start of the night can only get you so far and when the blinds reach 10,000 and 20,000 AK suited are great cards to have.
Well played Chris and well hung on from what was a slow start.
